Monty's Plant Food is a new organic liquid fertiliser and soil conditioner made with all natural ingredients.
Monty's is recommended as a supplement to your current fertiliser program. It is best applied to the seed or plant directly. We suggest taking a soil test and have a qualified independent lab analyse the samples to determine nutrient levels in your soil then following recommended applications to ensure proper nutrient levels. Alfalfa
At Planting: Utilize 750ml (4-15-12) in min 60 litres water per acre on seed.
Early Spring Foliar Application: 750ml (8-16-8) per acre in a minimum of 60 litres of water once growth is able to sustain traffic. Second Spring Foliar Application: Same rate as above one week to one and a half weeks after cutting. Summer Foliar Application: Same rate as above
Suggested Application: 500ml (4-15-12) per acre in a minimum of 60 litres of water This application to "winterize" your crop.
Apples
Apply directly on the soil (at the roots) as a Root Drench at a rate of 250ml per 350 litres of water
Foliar Application: Applied at a rate of 250ml (8-16-8) per acre in a minimum of 60 litres of water to the point of run off. Can be incorporated routinely into herbicidal, fungicidal, pesticide spray programs. (See herbicide, 'Application methods to try with Monty's').

Austrian Winter Peas
At Planting: Utilize min of 250ml (4-15-12) per acre as seed coat, 750ml per acre is optimal.
First Foliar Application: Applied at a rate of 500ml (8-16-8) per acre in a minimum of 80 litres of water once top of plant has reached the 4th leaf. Can be incorporated routinely into herbicidal, fungicidal, pesticide spray programs (see herbicide, 'Application methods to try with Monty's'). Follow up 500ml (4-15-12) per acre applied at the R-3 stage to fill the pod and add additional weight.
Barley
At Planting: Utilize 750ml (4-15-12) per acre on seed.

Foliar Application: Apply Monty’s (8-16-8) at a rate of 500ml per acre in a min 60 litres of water, once the height of the plants are 6-8 centimetres tall. This application can be applied with most sprayed pesticides at this time.
A second application 500ml per acre (8-16-8) in a min 60 litres water, should be applied 3 weeks after first foliar application.
Canola
At Planting: Utilize min of 250ml (4-15-12) per acre as seed coat, 750ml per acre is optimal.
Foliar Application: At a rate of 500ml (8-16-8) per acre in min 60 litres of water. Can be incorporated routinely into herbicidal, fungicidal, pesticide spray programs. Coffee
At Planting: Apply Monty’s Seed Starter (4-15-12) 500ml per acre in min 60 litres water.
Foliar Application: Spray Monty’s 8-16-8 at a rate of 750ml (diluted in water) per acre once the height of the plants are 48-60 centimeters tall. This application can be applied with most sprayed pesticides at this time.
Follow-Up Foliar Applications:For the maintenance application foliar spray Monty’s 8-16-8 at a rate of 750ml (diluted in water). This should be applied every 4 weeks after first foliar application (treatment 1) When beans begin to appear on the plant, foliar spray Monty’s 4-15-12 at a rate of 750ml per acre (diluted in water). This is the last foliar treatment before harvest.
Chrysanthemum
At Planting: Mix the seed starter in a 50/50 mix with water. Once seed has been placed in the soil spray the area until the soil has become moist without dripping.
Foliar Applications: Once plant has begun to show foliage spray weekly with the 4-15-12 formula at a rate of 250ml per 400 litres of water.
Once plants have developed after three weeks of growth the formula should be changed to the 8-16-8 formula at the same rate as above.
Optional Application: At bloom stage we suggest applying the 4-15-12 formula at the same rate as above.
Cotton
At Planting: Utilize min 750ml (4-15-12) per acre in a min 60 litres of water. First Foliar Application: Applied when the plant has reached the 4th true leaf stage, at a rate of 500ml (8-16-8) per acre in a minimum of 60 litres of water.

Corn
At Planting: 750ml (4-15-12) per acre in minimum of 60 litres of water.

Pumpkin, Squash, Watermelon & Cantalope
At Planting: Apply the Seed Starter (4-15-12) at 750ml in a min 60 litres of water per acre. Lowers the risk of seedling diseases because of the quick germination and promotes healthy root development. Various methods of applying seed starter may require more precise application rates.
First Foliar Application: Apply Monty’s (8-16-8) at a rate of 500ml in a min 60 litres of water per acre once the plant has at least 6 inches of growth.
Second Foliar Application: Additional applications every other week until blooms begin to appear.
Follow-Up Foliar Application: After bloom treat with 500ml per acre (4-15-12) in a min 60 litres of water to establish the pumpkin.
Rice
At Planting: Utilize min 750ml (4-15-12) per acre in min 60 litres or water.
First Application: Applied at a rate of 500ml (8-16-8) per acre in a min.of 80 litres of water once growth has reached the tillering stage.
